Kaitakatonoa - Rangatahi Support Worker

Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga has an exciting opportunity for a Kaitakatonoa - Rangatahi Support Worker to join our Young Parent Payment (YPP) team.

TToH is a thriving, values-based organisation in Hastings. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whānau across sunny Hawke's Bay for the past 30 years. 
We focus on outcomes for whānau by creating personalised, wraparound packages of care and support for families or individuals, based on their own particular needs.
The Young Parent Payment Team plays a valuable role in supporting Rangatahi into a position of stable independence.
Needless to say, professionalism, co-operative teamwork and a can-do attitude are paramount within our friendly workforce of 300 staff.
The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate:
• A high standard of professionalism
• Excellent time-management and administration skills
• Ability to communicate effectively whith people from all walks of life
• Willingness to work flexibly as part of our Rangatahi Support team
• Knowledge of kaupapa and tikanga Māori within a social context
