Te Taiwhenau o Heretaunga Appoints New Chief Executive

The board of Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga has appointed a new Chief Executive of Operations.

George Reedy, highly-experienced in businesses and not-for-profit organisations, will take up the role early in the New Year.

Mr Reedy is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), chair and board member on Crown Entities, and managing director in private companies.

He has worked in Government sectors and Māori economic initiatives, successfully growing national entities through an emphasis on quality in service delivery centred on technology and tele-communications.

The Acting Chief Executive of TToH for the past eight months, Marei Apatu, will continue in this role until Mr Reedy arrives, and will then resume his role as Te Kaihautū of the organisation.
