Our nurse-led clinics specialise in working with whānau to understand and improve illnesses such as diabetes, COPD, asthma, child immunisations, hapu māmā immunisations, and eczema as well as sexual health and becoming smokefree and caring for pēpi. Health Checks and Sexual Health checks available, just walk-in - this includes HPV Screening, cervical screening, STI checks and immunisations.

Our FREE walk-in and mobile hauora clinics provide manaakitanga to everyone that walks through our doors looking for support to get on their pathway to wellbeing. 
Te Ara Waiora is Nurse led with health coaches and kai manaaki working together to help you access healthcare that you need in a way that suits you.

Te Ara Waiora is an open-access clinic. This means that as long as you are a NZ Citizen, you can just pop in if you need to see us, no need to enrol, no appointments required.

Te Punga o Hauora

If you or someone you love is on their cancer journey, you are not alone. Te Punga o Hauora (The Anchor of Wellbeing) are grounded in assuring your comfort and expectations are supported.

Our Whānau-Centred Cancer Care Service walks beside you, providing uplifting support and information from diagnosis through to treatment, recovery, and beyond.

What We Offer:

  • Trusted Health Coaches and Registered Nurse
  • Coordination of care across hospital, community, and support services
  • Help accessing transport, accommodation, and financial support
  • Culturally grounded guidance and advocacy

Who Can Access This Service?

  • Māori whānau aged 25 and over
  • Living in Te Matau a Māui (Heretaunga and Central Hawke’s Bay)
  • Navigating a cancer diagnosis or at elevated risk (especially lung and breast cancers)
  • Self-referrals welcome – no need for a GP referral
