Whānau Ora Kaiarahi
Our enthusiastic Whānau Ora Kaiarahi team are here to advocate for and support whānau with mapping out and realising their whānau aspirations.
This culturally-based, and whānau-centred approach to wellbeing focusses on whānau (family group) as a whole, as the decision-makers who determine their goals and aspirations.
Building on the strengths and capabilities of whānau and wrapping the necessary services and support around them to get better outcomes and create positive changes. In areas such as health, education, housing, employment, improved standards of living and cultural identity.
Whānau are supported to fully realise the confidence, mana and the belief in self, family and community.
Our Whānau Ora Kaiarahi will walk alongside whānau who may need help in determining what success means to them. By offering support and assisting with pathways to develop their own solutions, our dedicated Whānau Ora Kaiarahi will help whānau to work towards self-determination, success and strengthening of the whānau unit.
