New Patient Management System coming to Hauora Heretaunga:
Please be patient with us as we implement a new system that is designed to assist the way that we deliver care and keep in touch with you on your health journey.
Changes at Hauora due to Covid19 Alert Level 1
We will be seeing people in person for routine appointments. Respiratory patients will be seen separately following a phone call with your doctor or nurse.
Dental services will be provided for emergency services and relief of pain.
There is a priority list of those requiring treatment as a result of delays experienced during COVID-19 lockdown.
Flu vaccinations continue to be offered and these are now given in the practice.
Call your doctor if you are feeling unwell or have any one of the Covid-19 symptoms and are :
-
a close contact of a confirmed case,
-
have recently travelled overseas or,
-
been in contact with recent travellers.
They will talk with you and arrange for you to be assessed if they think it is needed.
You can also call Healthline on 0800 358 5453.
Dental services will be provided for emergency services and relief of pain following a phone call with our dentist.
Free GP - Hauora Heretaunga
TToH’s medical centre, Hauora Heretaunga, offers high-quality, low-cost medical and dental care for whānau, and an on-site pharmacy for your convenience.
Enrolled whānau can see a GP FREE until they turn 25. After that, it’s just $16.
At Hauora Heretaunga, we’re always looking for ways to make it easier for whānau to get the care and support you need -- when you need it.
From June 1 2019 there are no more walk-in queues for whānau wanting to see a GP urgently.
All you need to do is phone Hauora and ask for a call-back by your GP. Your GP will ask you some questions.
They might be able to give you all the help you need over the phone, and save you a trip to Hauora.
Or they will arrange for you to come and see them –or someone else in your medical care team.
This change is to help us ensure that whānau get to see the right person at the right time.
Please note: High demand means enrolments at Hauora Heretaunga are subject to availability.
