Stay Connected
Kaumātua Ora is a programme designed specifically for our seniors. Fortnightly hui include health checks, gentle exercise, outings and social events.
Kaumātua enrolled in our Kaumātua Ora programme have an opportunity to participate in the Stanford Live Well programme. This is a six-week course that enables each participant to set themselves a goal and gain the skills to live with a long-term health condition.
Wellbeing
We all want to be healthy and happy, but sometimes life gets in the way and we need a bit of support .
We have teams of qualified professional staff who work holistically with whānau, to help them work toward wellbeing.

Oranga Tautiaki
In-home Manaaki
Our manaaki ki te kāinga team awhi whānau so that their mana is upheld and their independence is sustained. We offer in-home care packages tailored to the needs of the individual in Wairoa, Napier, Waimārama and across Central Hawke’s Bay.

Kaumātua Housing
Te Whare Āhurutanga is a modern, architecturally-designed, 11-bedroomed house with shared living spaces, and a housekeeper who provides all the meals.
Based on the internationally-successful Abbeyfield model, Te Āhurutanga offers high quality accommodation for Kaumātua who are still independent but would benefit from the support of shared living, companionship, warmth and security.
For whānau, this arrangement brings peace of mind, knowing their kaumātua are wellcared for.
